Veterinary ECG for heart problems in dogs and cats

Heart disease in dogs and cats is sadly quite common. If we are concerned that there might be risk of a heart murmurs or heart failiure in your dog or cats, we have all the equipment we need to work out the problem. Initially, we’ll run routine blood and urine tests, measure your pet’s blood pressure, and then consider x-rays, ultrasounds, and more specific cardiac blood tests.

We also have the option to perform a veterinary ECG to see the electrical currents in your pet’s heart. If we need further advice, we’ll refer you and your pet to a cardiology specialist. We are very lucky to have built excellent relationships with top specialists who we can contact, whether it’s as simple as making a phone call or booking an appointment with them for you and your pet.

Should we find symptoms of heart problems in you pet, we also stock a full range of medicines to treat all kinds of heart-related diseases.
