Un-hurried veterinary consultations

Our consultations are made by appointment and offer you a personal, relaxed environment for any vet advice or dog, cat, or rabbit pet advice you may need. Consultations normally last 15 minutes, but we understand that you may need more time. All patients are weighed and given a full clinical examination. We listen to your concerns, get a medical history, discuss possible treatments or further tests and costs.

To keep surgery running on time we ask that you arrive 5 minutes before your vet consultation and report to reception, and 10 minutes early if it’s your first visit and we need to register your details. We’ll also request your pet’s medical history from your previous vet.

We understand it can be a worrying time to come to the vet, especially if your pet is sick or nervous, so we’ll do our best to put you and your pet at ease. Please let us know in advance if your pet is particularly nervous as we can often arrange to see you at a quieter time.

Please remember we can only treat your pet with your consent so do let us know if someone else is bringing your pet.
