We are lucky enough to have fast, accurate equipment within the practice which can help us determine whether your pet has one of these conditions even if he or she seems perfectly healthy. We recommend this screening programme if you have a cat over 8 years or a dog over 6 years old.
The recommended panel of tests involves a blood sample, a urine sample, blood pressure measurement and a full clinical examination.
One of our experienced vets will then talk the results through with you and offer advice or treatment as necessary.
