Microchipping Month June 2010
National Microchipping Month occurs every year in June. To promote the use of microchips we are offering our clients the opportunity to have your pet microchipped at a discounted rate.
We have plenty of tales of pets wandering off and being reunited with their owner within just a few hours thanks to the microchip.
Each chip holds a unique 15-digit number which is stored on a central database along with your contact details, which is only accessible by Veterinary practices.
We are also using biotherm microchips, which contain an in-built thermometer, meaning that if your pet becomes unwell all we need to do is scan their microchip to obtain a body temperature reading!
