“After moving to you we noticed a marked change in our two cats, especially when it came to going in for any treatment. In contrast to their former behaviour when being taken to other vets, both animals seemed positively relaxed at Barons Court. In fact the older cat, usually very stressed on an examining table, would leap down and explore the room - purring. The two cats needed a number of treatments. The vets explored all avenues with us and explained everything carefully. We felt we fully understood the animals’ conditions, the prognoses and every aspect of possible treatments, including a clear indication of the costs involved. Our younger cat’s life was transformed by an operation the vets advised. Her quality of life is now 100% better. In the end, our older cat became extremely ill with cancer. All avenues were explored, but in the end it seemed best to have her put to sleep. The entire team, both vets and the two superb nurses, gave our cat and us maximum support throughout. In the end, we felt they loved our cat as much as we did. The family atmosphere, the high degree of expertise of both vets and the level of nursing care make Barons Court Veterinary Centre truly outstanding. “I have always been pleased with how caring and gentle you are to Winkle and Sparks, and that you always take time to explain everything and give advice. You both obviously love animals yourself, and that makes such a difference. On both occasions when Sparks was so ill, I was really impressed with how quickly you responded to my calls. I also appreciated how sensitive you were to me. I know I am a worrier and I was very distressed at having to leave Sparks behind as an in-patient. It was very reassuring to be able to visit him and keep in contact, although I know that it must have made your job a lot more difficult. I am fairly sure that if I had not been registered with your practice, Sparks would probably have died. What I especially like is the fact that my two moggies, and even the scruffy little stray cat I brought in are treated every bit as carefully and attentively as the most aristocratic of pedigrees.
