Emma Nicholas

Head Vet MA (Cantab) VetMB MRCVS

I graduated from the University of Cambridge and became a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in 1994. I worked as an assistant in several high-profile Central London practices and did my fair share of long hours and night callouts in Surrey, County Durham and Hong Kong.

I opened Barons Court Vet in 2002 followed by Notting Hill Vet in 2006 with the aim to provide every patient with high quality yet affordable veterinary medicine; I believe my team and I achieve this.

Our neighbourhood surgeries are at the cutting edge of veterinary practice. We were one of the first practices in the UK to use interferon in the treatment of feline viruses. We were also one of the first practices in the UK to be accredited to the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. Recently both surgeries past re-inspection with flying colours as RCVS General Practices.

Over the last 11 years we have continued to heavily invest in equipment and staff training. We have developed extremely good working relationships with specialists in all fields enabling us to create optimum care plans for our patients.

We pride ourselves on the relationships we build with our clients and patients. All animals are welcome and we are available throughout the day to help. Our team can offer advice on the best care for your pet, discuss treatment options and give estimates on our charges.

We understand that you are often worried when you come to the vet and we are here to help. I hope to see you soon.
